It is nice to be able to buy a 300hp RWD car for 25K (Mustang GT) but its a letdown when you sit in it. Hell the seats feel sloppy too. Needs some bolsters like recaros.

I agree about the Challenger though, they spent all the money on the ext (which look great) and didnt ave anything to the interior.

id say ford is even more poorly run than GM. Ford is still way behind on their recovery, whereas GM is quite close to posting a profit.

That is because the paid a lot of higher paid skilled workers to 'retire early' and hire a bunch of unskilled cheap labor. Ahhhhh... America.

LOL ALL the manufacturers did! they all have BASICALLY the same UAW contracts! each one had to bargain for certain concessions that their workers required or wanted, but at the base they are pretty much the same! i watch this stuff pretty closely on an automotive site that was watching it very closely. I'm very aware of what happened. so this "gm did this and ford didn't" is a crock of shit. the differences between the different UAW contracts is MOSTLY in health and retirement benefits. the wage stuff wasn't touched on much. it just wasn't a massive issue. job security and benefits were the top issues that were where the negotiations broke down.
