winamps music library is great. it doesnt take over anything yet still allows quick finding of music.

Wow totaly didnt know that. But since my music folder is all messed up now, i guess there si no harm in using itunes. Also since i listen to a lot of podcasts and itunes is the best way to download them (tried other software...didnt like it much and downloading each podcast by hand is quite a bother) it makes sense to use that.

or you could just subscribe to podcasts and once a week open itunes to download them to a specified folder and continue to use winamp. thats what i did. turn it on before i left for work so that all the ones i needed would be downloaded, and then when i came home shut it off since it was done.

I know it is, but still, just sorting your music via folders suffices. At least in my case.

totally agree. im very big on this. i cant stand unorganized music folders. pisses me right the fuck off.
