Haha, the day after Seoul, he's coming to Tokyo! Got my ticket for 4,000 yen so about 17 $34??

But tickets have been sold (out) for this event that were priced at 80,000 yen each! So 320 / $640!!

That's a pretty expensive mortgage. You live in a big city or something?

Posted by PvDoBseSSioN on Mar-23-2008 16:08:

I always thought this was an exaggeration until I was guestlisted in to PvD this past month to meet some people that were putting on the show. I never met them, and it was more like torture for 5 hours

I think it's a generous price. 70$ is how much I'd make in a typical shift, except I'd have to endure e-tards and blasting crap music. Damn, now that I think about it, I think I better revise my price

Paying anything over $30 (okay, $40 tops) to see some guy spin other people's records is insane.

Posted by CyclonesWorld on Mar-23-2008 16:49:

I'd pay $70 to not see Tiesto

i never understood that either. tiesto came to the congress theatre in chicago before...i couuld have seen it, but i was like, what, i'm going to sit in a chair? fuck that, i want to dance on a dancefloor amongst hundreds of sweaty individuals.

The chairs are removed there for EDM shows. There were THOUSANDS of sweaty individuals there, mainly because the room was so damn hot...

in miami $70 for tiesto is cheap. they normally charge around $90 for the early presales and it goes up from there. $30-35 is the regular price for just about anyone and about $14 for drinks.

It's 80 for Mansion at WMC down here. VIP is a hell of a lot more.

BTW, Bob Sinclar VIP is 2,500 per person. I forget which club it is at the moment. It's for some benefit.

exactly...those old concert halls have like zero ventilation. at least in a club they've got fans, or at least areas you can move to away from the dancefloor. i guess kinda neat to know that they did remove the seats.

Tiesto show was the only one with the heat problem, and there is plenty of space to move away from the dance floor. The problem with these concert halls being used for DJs though is that it just kind of feels stupid. Also the sound is generally bad with all the bass.
