26, and this is the FIRST time ever that I feel like clubbing is getting old. Not only do the drugs interest me less and less....(I RARELY use them anymore, cept for special occasions).....but the scene in general is totally different then it was in 2000-2004. those were the glory years (and the toronto years, for me) lol. NYC scene is completely different and not necessarily in a good way.
No worries, tho. I dont find the change depressing. I have found enjoyment in so many other things, and the distance has made the parties that I *do* go to even better. (but a lot harder to recover from....holy shit a big massive like bal en blanc had me exhausted straight til thursday...)
Im 24....I dont know what im going thru but I have things to look forward to....... getting married in 4 months time....So its gona be a big change...I'll have a wifey for real
(Like my very own ) LOL I dont know how to explain buts its kinda kool feeling.
Thats all besides that Im just like most of you.....I think 25 years later I'll be touching 50 and thats big jump.I'll be an old man
scary stuff.
whats even scarier is when i start hearing about old friends of mine getting married etc. im like WTF are ppl thinking.
im scared im not ready for marriage anytime in the next 10 years

for real, you all need some god damn perspective!!
when you were six you couldn't have the # of cookies you wanted
when were 14 you were all tired of having the newly driving 16-17 yer who just started driving stealing your gf's
when you were 18 you just couldn't wait till you were 22 and you could go WHEREEVER the f*ck you wanted
and now you're prime mid-20's THE PEAK! now I ruin my appetite right before diner cuz i f*ckin can! in fact i think i'll do that tonight... you can hop on a plane and get into any Vegas club no issues... you can pick up highschool guy's gf's AND tap other people's 'married' wives! there is no better place to be then where you are right now
and you get to use the best start to any given sentence... "yo, back in the day...."
Vivid is in his prime and just where he needs to be... at least he had the drunk excuse... most of this is sober sat beautiful day out talk, and that's the part that freaks me out!

No complaints here. I can hardly relate to feeling old, despite having adult responsibilities.
I think it's from always getting in shit when I was a kid. There's a always a feeling of "I need to check with an adult first" that lingers in the back of my mind somewhere, lol.
edit: I think I'll start feeling old when I can no longer fit into clothes I wore in high school.

This thread is useless without Abercrombie.
i'll be 28 in a few weeks!
i can't complain though... every year seems to be better then the last for me so if trends continue 2008 should be phenomenal. partying is becoming few and far between but i'm ok with that. it just means that i get to pick and choose the parties that i think are going to be amazing. i just need to give myself adequate time to recover afterwards and make sure i get my naps in beforehand.
on a related note, i was having a little house party not too long ago and spent a good chunk of the night talking to a buddy of mine about mortgages, marriage and child support... lol. i felt soooo old after that conversation.

i understand what your saying you having diffrent opinions and stuff . that just comes with age its called experience and be prepared we arent too far from the bend to the 30s and then we can call ourselves cougars LMAO!

I'm sorry guys but alot of you are being ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!
Mid 20's and feeling old....
pure bollucks...
OMG!!! Wait till you young'uns turn 25+... LIFE GETS SO MUCH BETTER!!! I experienced the quarter life crisis too and had a hard time dealing with it but seriously, what I know now and what I have now compared to when I was under 24 is a world of difference! First off and the biggest thing for me, I am no longer drowning in student loans and having to do crappy summer jobs like being some CEO's bitch! I now have an awesome job I truly enjoy and I can buy pretty much what my little heart desires. In the last few months I purchased a new car and home (and pimped it out completely with the latest tech and furnishings). I've been travelling the world. People at work respect me and come to me for advice/recommendations (I'm the decision-maker now). I've also met people that wouldn't have given me the time of day if I was younger. And yes, I STILL make time to party hard and have tons of FUN! I also have enough $$$ now to treat my friends to nice dinners and to buy them all Decadence/Freedom tickets!
I've come a long way and worked very hard to get to where I am now. I've had many challenges along the way of course, and watching life speed by and wondering often what I'm going to do next or what there is left of life... but honestly, I wouldn't trade this fabulous position called the late 20's to be 24 again! And one of these days I'll have marriage and a family to look forward to. Trust me, hang in there, live each day to the max and plan for the future! You'll look back with a smile as I am now.
