i felt bad for menno.. i can't say anything about armin because i saw like the last 5 minutes of his set.. i was one of the many people who had to wait 2 1/2 hours to get in.. the few that actually waited and didnt leave

so it was kindof a bummer.. no actually a totally bummer/drag/let-down

markus however was great, i enjoyed his set.. i still think he's shy for a dj lol

Yeah man, the Parkwest room setup sucks compared to Twilo. They maximized their VIP areas of course... Twilo had more room to stand and wander around in last year. I loved that!

Really wanted to be at this show but the tickets at the door was $200. I love those guys, but no way I would spend that much. I guess I'll learn to buy my tickets right when they're announced.

It just wasn't a high BPM set, more bassy slower tracks. If you like hard hitting trance, you won't love the set he played...but he was an opening DJ, not the main, so he did what he was supposed to do...

Great time for sure. Got to parkwest around midnight walked straight in. Armins set was nice. Very melodic with some heavy hitters here and there. He really looked like he was having a blast. The crowd and vibe was fantastic. Plenty of room in there, which makes it weird about the suppposed fire marshall thing. Anyways, after Armin was Markus and wow wow wow.... Like someone said before, remixes of remixes of remixes and he kept going until 8 I was enjoying it soo much that I never even hit up the other room. In fact, I just assumed that they had scrapped it. Kinda would of liked to catch menno, but Markus had everybody's attention in there.

True. Armin did look like he was loving his time there! He was pretty animated and actually was encouraging people to take pics of him and with him. The vibe was totally awesome and Markus rocked us all out hard! ...I was the one who talked about the many MArkus remixes of remixes...just sick shit there! Met many cool people.

...I also thought they scrapped that room and forgot about it, especially since when I got there I walked all around the club checking it out as I had not been there since the Twilo to Parkwest changeover. I asked a bouncer if they were having the second room and he said, "No, I think they are just satelliting the same music in there from the main room." Oh well, I learned something..to never listen to any of the people that work in a club...this stuff seemed to happen every night...not even worth asking any employee that didn't organize the event any questions. They are just there to maintain the peace and enforce their rules.

after remy, armin's set was not spectacular by any means. but it would've taken quite an effort to bring back the vibe after remy's snoozefest.
markus came on around 3:45 and was rocking it but i was exhausted so left around 6.

not sure what set you heard but everyone i talked to thought armin fuckin' rocked!

The GF got to enjoy both Jennifer's and Blakes because she was too busy cock gazing and got held up by the fire martials. LOL She was stuck over on that side for over an hour because of her infatuation with Blake. I told her dumb ass not to leave my side. She is still kicking herself in the ass for missing over an hour of Armin. She did say Jennifer played well though but that most were too busy being pissed off about not being able to get through to see Armin that they didnt show much interest in hers or Blakes sets while they waited in line. Id have loved to see her play the main room but didnt want to miss out on seeing Armin take the decks as the GF did.
