Like Jay, I also find people like this entertaining. However, in a packed bus/subway with someone up in my face like that, I would not find it entertaining at all. I think you handled her outburst well. I know I would have had a completely different reaction if that happened to me...

As for wackos on the Subway, I find people that own cars to unreasonably overexaggerate how bad it is. I've been taking the TTC every day for years, and it's really not that bad at all. If you want to see what a bad subway is like, go to somewhere like London, Paris or worse, Tokyo.

As for those punks who play music on their cellphones for all to hear, it pisses me off too. If you want to hear music, buy headphones like everyone else! The only reason why they do it is to annoy other people. People don't tell them off enough.
