I've been following aviation since I was 7 years old and people going out of business is nothing new. Especially airlines like ATA and Aloha that have been struggling and on edge for years. Seeing that KLM is half owned by Air France I'm interested to hear how that is going to play out, but the rest is pretty standard fare...this assertion:

i spent 25 hours on an air canada plane...the service was horrid and this was first class. The fucking bitch spilled wine all over me while i was sleeping and didnt even tell me. i want them to die in a fire.

i did, and i changed my return ticket on arrival to a competitor. There is nothing shittier than going through customs (where they dont speak your language) reeking like a fucking wino. They paid for my dry cleaning, but really i hope that bitch got aids.

i dont think klm is going bankrupt like ppl said it's owned by air France and klm air france is now the or one of the largest compagny in the world

but alitalia is indeed going bankrupt that's why klm -air france wanted to buy it but so far the conditions suggested didnt appeal the italian goverment and the discussions failed

but finally some new discussions are going to take place so as even if alitalia is taken by klm air france , the airlines will still exist
