Go to a good, reputable tattoo artist and discuss your ideas with them and let them help you come up with a design. Any artist that's worth your cash will educate you as to what will and won't work as a tattoo.

Don't just get a logo...a friend of mine had the Cream logo on his arm and it looks...sketchy to say the least

I am serious about that though. If an artist made it look good enough..maybe a lil more obviously a synth than a switchboard it would rock.
