I saw The Breakfast Club -- once. But most of the teen movies I saw were '90s ones.

I think it actually fits pretty well, because that's how a lot of teenagers think. Sure it's cheesy, but many high schoolers have a ton of cheesy-idealistic-emoish thoughts.
