wait wait, so your saying if they don't pay up then they deserve to get beat to a pulp? I mean I am not defending them, but honestly nobody here really knows what happened, at least up to this point.

It doesnt matter. Bouncers are there to remove and protect patrons. If someone is acting bad, kick him out or call the police.

i know just as much info as the rest of you, but from what it seems - asking for a written bill does not constitute getting locked in a room with a dozen bouncers beating you to the ground

Well one of 2 things must've happened... There really must have been a video of this event for all the Bouncers to be arrested so quickly. Or if there wasn't a video, I would guess that if all the bouncers @ Mansion were arrested, it is a statement to the club that the city is tired of these kind of things happening with Opium Group. (or any club for that matter)

There's gotta be more to this. The Miami Herald only got one side of the story.

Maybe my point was did not come across... but i agree. There is never a need to beat someone up for a Bill or any sort of behavior if you are a club bouncer.

yeah i re-read your post and saw what you meant now. at first i took it as you were going against what the person you quoted said, saying that the bouncer did the right thing.

a lot of times they are told to only let hot girls in. sometimes it's not their fault. hot girls attract guys willing to pay for drinks etc, so they try to fill up the club ASAP with as many hot girls as possible.

WOW the bartender girls or dancers would walk in or see/hear it and not do shit. This is a sign that this is a normal thing most likely happening all the time and its standard policy. Guess its at a different room with no camera then.
