-- Electrohouse and minimal - decide for once - use their potential or kill them off

I'd say if you want to listen to more interesting electronic music these days you've got to stay away from most DJ friendly stuff...
I think good music is good music regardless of how you want to pigeon hole it.
Good minimal is good minimal, good electrohouse et al...
Bottom line is with popularity, comes saturation, but if you are true to the sound then you with play the cream that rises to the top of the rubbish. Same can be said about all music. Even fucking Italo Disco which is making a re-emergance in a lot of the underground clubs I go to these days..
you have to jump ship when it gets popular and move on to something that hasn't been ruined yet ... like dubstep.

all i will say is like what you like ... commerical or Underground, high or low, new or old.... it really doesnt matter... but the Music industry across the board will have its up and downs, and artists will change for better or worse ... so no worries jsut explore and find something new b/c there will always be something you can find to listen too ...
Electro house when it first came out was awesome because it was new and fresh. Now it is played out and most people know how simple and cheesy it is. I do like funky progressive house though. It is similar to electro but the basslines are not so distorted.
Minimal is perfect for filler songs but a whole set of it boars me to death.
