Taking a load on the face usually helps me forget everything else.

Looks like male and female stress relief methods can be very compatible here.

By "chase wild animals in the dark" you really mean "jerk off and cry in the shower while thumbing your anus", right?

Hmmm... these work a lot
-Run to the used record store
-Mix (I find when I am stressed and I mix, thats when I figure out new ideas - song arrangement, mixing FX and tricks, etc)
-Drink some hot tea
-Hang out with my dog... he isn't much for frisbee any more but he likes a good walk thru the river bed.
-if i had a girl, have her rub my back
-if I had a girl, have her rub something else...
-Clean my guns (its oddly calming for me...)

I find manual tasks like that pretty calming as well. I don't own any guns, but I do find that cleaning or organizing stuff calms me down.

Right now I'm on whiskey and some valerian root capsules, listening to ambient music.

Very calm.

Is that a serious question? Jesus spacedocking Christ, are you fucking stupid? Of course that's what I meant. I was just speaking in slang, dipshit. Gahd.

That's not really an enormous dose or anything. Certainly not anything that could harm you that badly...

Nono, it's really not. And I didn't mean to imply I have a habit of taking it, much less an addiction. It's just one of those substances I find safe and enjoyable to use when I like colours sort of blurring and forgetting who I am. It certainly doesn't hurt that I can buy it in a grocery store either.

I guess there's ways of boiling out the pure diph from benadryl in order to take monstrous amounts of it raw... kind of scared to pursue that. haha

But who needs memory anyways, right?

Kid shit.

//Kind of funny, it's like Prozac's estranged grand-dad.

Diphenhydramine, aka Benadryl. In low doses, it's an antihistamine (anti-allergy) and sedative. In much higher doses, it's a deliriant (a kind of hallucinogen that renders you unable to distinguish between reality and hallucination).

Oh, Antihistamine? I have some of those. Dunno what sort though. I have to take them if I get stung by BEEEEEEEEEEES (Beads?).

Allergies, ya know.

Edit: I have Phenergan (25mg). It says 'avoid alcohol' on the pack. Lol.

Halcyon, I'm listening to one of the stations on that ambient site you mentioned earlier in the thread. Good stuff.

See I'm the opposite. Only make music when I'm really happy.

Maybe I should try it when I'm pissed off and agitated? Who knows what I'll come up with...

I make music all the time... but mostly it's when I'm feeling either really bored or really emotional about something. Both have their benefits.

Never thought about it because I generally don't let things get to me too much.

I enjoy long walks on the beach, candle-lit dinners, movies, and kicking your ass.
I enjoy long walks, exercising, knitting, gardening and spending time with my lover.
I enjoy long walks on the beach and watching human interest stories on the tele. I have a stable job with a good income.
I enjoy long walks in the park or on the beach under a beautiful full moon.
I enjoy long walks on the beach and living on the edge. I prefer dark hair, but if you love animals, youve won my heart.
I enjoy long walks on the beach candlelight dinners and occasional gnome punting competitions.

+1

Work/school related stress goes away by itself after I get home. I just need to get away from the source.
