Happy birthday.
I do expect the rush of breaking the law to be gone, but the beer will still taste the same.

But I do go out.
edit: w0rd.
Well I'd been drinking in pubs for 2 years before I was old enough. In fact when I was still 17 went on a monster bender after coming back from the first year of uni with a mate, between christmas and new year, for 2-3 weeks straight.
Breakfast in the pub kinda thing. Up at 11 or 12 straight down to get started finish in the club next door at 1am or 2. Home sleep and repeat. Every single day. Cost a fortune.
On first name terms with all the local pubs bar staff, getting lifts home from the bar maids from the pub.
And then you take that first historic all too legal pint. What a fucking anticlimax!

how well thought* out. How about just buying your own...in a bar or club?

| For most people, becoming legal is when you can start going to pubs without worrying about getting in/getting drinks. Unless you have a damn good fake id, it isn't a possibility here. Most college and high school kids in the States will just drink in dorm rooms and basements until then. So becoming legal to you was when you could first start going to pubs. In other words, a good time. |

I'm pretty sure my 21st birthday was pretty fun, I don't know for sure though because I have no memory of anything that happened after 7 pm though

enough ass jockey psychology in krypton's bday thread
happy belated birthday man!!
I just can't wait to finish 2 more years of undergrad and start making some real money. The older I get, the better things get; at least in my experience. Everyone's different.
