Three words: condo - leeza - rice. Hot Hot Hot. Without her super-nerd brain, she's just creepy.

It just came to me. A 2 cent bit to topic, probly in the most extreme case, for my part.

Geraldine Page in Woody Allen's 'Interiors' - she was 54 or so and I was resolutely unnatracted to her at the time. One of her last scenes in the movie, when she's in a partial darkness, had a kind of profound effect on me and I suddenly thought her beautiful.

This thought is so profound I rented the movie.

Seriously? Netflix? I have to confess, she is perhaps my favorite actress (particularly in her last movies where she's perhaps outdone herself entirely - maybe conscious of her impending death?).

Walt Whitman
the only true American poet imo

Ugh, I hate this man! blurring the line of honorable comradeship with homosexuality.

Edgar Allan Poe for that matter...

I apologize in advance for my bitterness, but most male actors, rockstars, or athletes don't belong in this thread. Nobody is attracted to their 'talent'. Their fame and willingness to shake their nuts in front of an audience does the job quite nicely. Combine this with the prevalent groupie mentality of 'you want = I want' and talent can fuck off and die. Many frighteningly untalented people take on the confidence that should be reserved for people whose accomplishments have earned it.

That said, I might actually fuck Mr. Hawking, though most likely I'll never get that chance.

Ooooooh, lawdy. I LOL'd something fierce.

hahahaha it's ok
Whitman only becomes attractive upon close and extended analysis of his poetry, namely that in "Leaves of Grass". He was in his prime then - talent-wise and looks-wise.

Edgar Allan Poe is insane. I studied a few of his short stories in first year (I think one was called "The Joker" or something) and they gave me nightmares... everyone in his stories is constantly double-crossing someone which leads to their death or total mental/physical destruction. Everything is dark, evil and twisted.
His poetry deals with very similar subject matter and yes I agree with you that he is one effin talented poet - crazy structuring of his verse (I think he worked mostly in something called "trochaic octameter" ) ... anyway, he's fucked up lol
