This just in...I will be on Kiss FM tomorrow morning.

I will be discussing various silly things on air, but the main bit is that I've been invited to play a psy-trance track, because I jokingly rubbished them for always playing vocal house!

Should be fucking hilarious.

What should I play? Suggestions?

I'm torn between playing the biggest, baddest track I know to blow everyone's heads apart on their way to work and playing a more mellow progressive track to make people realise that psy is actually pretty cool!

If you're awake, tune in between 7am and 8am on 87.6 or 87.8.

SPRITE - Compiled by Dj Stomas [Liquid and Solid]

http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/lsd/lsd1cd003.html

Been doing alot of airtime on my ears lately - I esp. like the tracks from Shanti and Eat Static - awesome driving psyprog. Weakest tracks in the album are Prosper and Ticon, the rest are pretty good. Theres a little long-awaited return from Jaia too, though it's a remix of Exosphere.

Atmos - The Only Process, is a mad mad old school song among my favorites up there.
Keeping up with old school, if you can still find their stuff around Kayseri is pretty cool. If you listening them in your car loud, It's guarantied that people around you will think you're peaking HI on acid. Mad shit.

Heya Nick! Regardless the shitty time slot they gave you - that is a splendid opportunity - good on ya, Mate!

I suggest you put your tracks in a design that starts with three to four numbers progressive (Freq, Vibrashpere, Human Blue or similar, keep it more on the deeper, darker side of things (138) until you find a bridge without apparent rhytmn then swing into second gear (140-142) and finish on a couple of full-on numbers (144+).
Damn I wished I could bethere with ya!

Only get to play ONE track.

It's not a DJ slot, I'm just a "call-in" listener.

'Tightarses' - may as well let it rip then!!!

I'd give em "Brains" - Laughing Buddha/Pogo.

Can anyone recommend some modern-day Hallucinogen style stuff to me?

i.e trippy, yet with well constructed, complex melodies and a bit of energy (I find stuff like Shpongle a bit too cruisy).

Oh, and if you haven't already - Twisted and Lone Deranger, both complete and absolute masterpieces in every single way. Posford is a genius.

"The way I feel...I don't expect to go to sleep for a year. I'm on FUCKING FIRE!"

Unless I am not completely dreaming up things - Simon Posforf has been working on a new album for quite a while but no one knows about the progress and he doesn't respond to any myspace inquieries as yet...(By the way, Posford is a genius!)
