70-80 every 2 weeks. Sometimes more. I get a lot of old stuff along with the new. Trying to catch up with those ******s in Berlin and their 5-10,000 record collections.

I spend about $70/month.

Talking about Beatport, do you guys know "Track It Down"? There's a tune I want to buy, but I'm reluctant to give my credit card number to a company I've never heard of...

Pretty well known, though I rarely buy from there.

I didn't find that tune anywhere else on the net. However, I'm now visiting Beatport for the first time in my life so... let's see if I can find it

edit: Well, they have this tune for almost half of the price. Is the bitrate lower or something?

Yeah they do. Frequently the big sites (BP, audiojelly, maybe trackitdown, I don't spend much time there) will make deals with labels so the labels release tracks exclusively on their own sites, either for a few weeks, or sometimes permanently. This enables the one site with access to sell it for more and in turn share more with the label.

And yeah, this month I've been pretty broke so I've had to obtain my stuff through the magic of google. Its pretty awesome what you can find, but definitely shady.

Are you referring to Beatport? They'll have it in 320Kbps, or you can purchase it as a .WAV.

Trackitdown has been down for the past few days? or is it just my computer, the main page loads, but if i do a search or press any link on the page i get a 404 error
