-- HD Radio Dance Station in SD
Pages (2): « 1 [2]
HD Radio in the past year or so has been heavily promoted. I recently installed it in my car and I absolutely love it. The FM is near CD quality. There is no static and the reception is crystal clear. The major difference is in AM, where HD AM sounds like FM quality. Although most of the radio stations are crap, the second hd channel do offer some decent programming. I just wish the college stations start to broadcast HD Radio. But it will take some time for HD Radio to become more popular. The best part it's free and the equipment costs are very low.
You can purchase a hd radio car stereo for around $100. Don't know why the perception of HD Radio being expensive.
And yeah I still listen to radio in my home. I enjoy listening to local music.
well they stat at 100 but i love my 6 disk in dash mp3 player and that raises price a bit
All I have is my stock cd player/radio because I live in SF and park on the street. Already had 2 decks stolen out of my car, I'm tired of replacing my windows! Think nob hill/russian hill is a better neighborhood, think again... cars are broken into on my street daily, it's not serious enough for the police to do anything about, they wouldn't even take a report. LOL
One day, when I leave this city I will have a nice stereo system again!
You can spend a little bit more and get a deck with usb input.
Well I got my HD Deck DUAL 6425 with USB input for around $110 after discount/rebates. And you can add bluetooth module for only $40 to comply with that lame wireless law that goes in effect summer 2008.
You can get a usb flash drive 4GB for around $15, which is equivalent to your 6 disc cd.
