haha I've been playing it a lot lately and have been quite tempted to give it a rethink, but with the best possible, tasteful intentions......
but the more I think of it, the more I think it's entirely possible Mark Knight and Funkagenda went into remixing it with the best intentions, so I move slowly away from my PC until I forget about whatever it was I thought I was doing....

Posted by Az on Apr-19-2008 23:40:

I'm going to be digging the original of TMWTRF out as well, I'm betting the mash up options available with this beast are endless....

What the fucks gonna happen next? HUH?! DHS - House Of God (Funkagenda's Bring Da Humppa Remix)???

Is nothing sacred anymore?!

Posted by samhouse on Apr-20-2008 00:10:

Hi, that would be the Jan Driver Remix. Legendary as someone said.

Laurent Garnier doesn't like it and so it's not on every copy. I have it though - definitely massive. First heard it on Steve Lawler's july 2000 EM

funk dvoid remix is my favorite though

just ended a 12 hour house party with it

Posted by hkaliher on Apr-20-2008 15:37:

the rape of a great track is sad enough but the fact that it gets to #1 is the saddest part of it all

gets played on some radio station or something that retarded people listen to then they download it. If it reaches in the top 10 then its ganna make it to 1 no problem since there are so many that just download top 10 charts and dont even listen.

Posted by samhouse on Apr-20-2008 22:55:

holy shit i remember that lawler essential mix. It was like the second last song or something right.

I'm not saying its a problem if u listen to the radio like a song and buy it, but i know a DJ who listens to like ASOT and future sound of Egypt and those other crap radio shows and downloads every new track because its what the superstar DJ's are spinning, then goes to clubs and spins pretty much the same thing.

One of the biggest reasons i made that rant was because you we're the first to play The Radio Slave Remix (as in that's where i heard it for the first time), and i absolutely loved it, and now, this crock of shit appeared.

Be sure to let me know when you finish that set with the Surgeon Mix.

Oh you mean net radio. I meant normal FM radio you get in your car.

We only get each superstar DJ once a year in Australia so Thats good that they play some of what the big DJs are playing.

I listen to ASOT religiously plus the other similar shows. I am probably that DJ that you know! Haha

CSB, what are the Non-crap radio shows that you listen to?

Some people questioned the re make -
Funkagenda came on and explained the thoughts behind it all -
Most said fair play -
Some frustrated no mark starting getting personal -
Funkagenda put him in his place
