lol

The unfortunate part is that I have had to resort to Timmy's for the last little while as 5$ coffees on a daily basis = lots of money out the door at the end of the month which I needed in my pocket instead.

Posted by LKD on Apr-23-2008 00:51:

is it really so hard for people to brew their own coffees at home?

or even tea....i get a kick everytime i hear someone order a Chai Tea...like WTF people.. Chai MEANS tea...ur basically ordering a "Tea Tea"..lol

what i get pissed off with starbucks and second cup and the likes is...im paying 3-4 dollars for a cup of coffee..shouldnt the sugar and cream be served IN the cup instead of me having to pour it on the side like a reject?

Nope, which is why I only usually do that instead. Such a money saver.

After I'm done getting ready for work, if I have time I will brew my own and on the weekends I always do.

Start the pot before you start getting ready Or brew in the night before and heat it up.

Thats another thing i hate about starbucks..

If I am paying you $2 for a coffee...you better put that milk and sugar in it and stir that son-of-a-bitch up!!

Posted by Silky Johnson on Apr-23-2008 01:35:

I prefer putting my own milk and sugar in.

Ideal in the market, hands down the best lattes in T.O.

lol...

always make my own coffee/tea. Only buy it when I'm with friends I know don't make their own. I'm such a sheep sometimes.

I make my own tea at work sometimes (no milk, cause in my country it's not a tradition, and no sugar, since I only sweeten with honey and there's no honey there), and I don't drink coffee (at least not on a regular basis - very rarely actually), so I don't really contemplate these things. But lately, I've been heading out to Tim Horton's in the afternoons for their Hot Smoothie, but that's just cause it's a bit of a walkaway and I need that break just to clear my head from all the stuff I'm doing. It's really more for the walk rather than for a drink, cause I don't like drinking from a paper cup and spending money on top. I could make my own hot chocolate at work, but then I wouldln't have a reason to go out for a walk... Damn, even smokers have it better

Maybe I should just walk to Tim Horton's and then walk back...

Posted by Ania_xox on Apr-23-2008 04:14:

Darling... don't drink those smoothies anymore
especially if you don't *really* want them
they are nothing but sugar sugar sugar in hot water
plus some good old fat in the condense powder (it's not even milk!)

get a herbal tea! Or like you said, walk for the sake of walking. I do that sometimes... you need to clear your head - just do it

Posted by Zentac_75 on Apr-23-2008 04:20:

^ I agree.

Coming from an ex tim's employee, everything from that place is either all sugar, all sodium, all fat, or a mixture of all 3.

Posted by Ania_xox on Apr-23-2008 04:26:

+ boogers
(but it was only mean customers who got that little treat)

You're only paying over 2.50 if it's not brewed coffee. You lazy asses can put them in yourselves!

Lattes on the other hand... I know they cost a lot, which is why I always put my soul into any drink I make and deliver a legendary beverage!
