blind fans?
please do tell what that's supposed to mean

Looking forward to ISOS 7, loved all the previous ones, and 3 discs sounds really good to me.

Posted by SteelWolf on Apr-28-2008 05:32:

Hmm might not be too bad. I wonder how many deadmau5 tracks on this one?

Tiesto, Armin, etc fans who think they are the be-all-end-all of dance music and refuse to listen to anything remotely contradicting that.

Eh, I wouldn't say it's definitive enough to warrant a fix.

To Tiesto's credit (of which little I can give), ISOS generally showcases his most competent side, and typically amounts to a thoughtful release.

If I ever needed to direct someone to content reflecting Tiesto's strongest points, the ISOS series would be my immediate selection.

Tbh I think Magik series is his finest work...They've much more quality, for being released in one year.

The "fix" wasn't aimed at Tiesto...apparently you're not familiar with 'AustralianGQ'

Yeah... I guess he has a few thousand fans like that. Not all of us are "blind"

ISOS has been consistent. Last one was ok, but I'm looking forward to the next installment. Will wait for tracklist and reviews though.

Her certainly has enough to warrant 7 of the same cd

Posted by Ishad on Apr-28-2008 07:17:

Cant wait.. isos series are one of best...

Posted by Sadface on Apr-28-2008 08:05:

I typically enjoy the ISOS's enough to enjoy listening once or twice. I'm looking forward to seeing the tracklist on this one.

Which ones did you like Bas? Or rather, which one should have been his last in your opinion?

He should've stopped after third.

I don't like the fact this wil be 3 cds. In my experience, less is nearly always more when it comes to the number of discs and tracks on a compilation. With 3 cds, I think there is a good chance they will all be very average with none of the discs being good enough for many repeat listens.

Keep it down to two discs (or in some cases even 1 disc) and the weaker tracks will be ditched making each cd much stronger

Posted by Glaniskanis on Apr-28-2008 12:44:

I would take the 3CD notice as a possibility for some extra bonus disc containing some Armani Exchange promotional material of somesort rather than an additional ISOS mix

You got to love the reading ability of the majority of TA forum members.

Side splittingly ignorant to reality sometimes.

Had Wikipedia's keen updaters actually posted the full Armani Exchange press release, maybe the rumour mill would be focusing more on the release date of a new CD, rather than churning out the 3CD offer to A.E. customers to pick up ISOS6 with EOL remixed (2 + 1 = 3).

Posted by Viber on Apr-28-2008 13:55:

again to get the unmixed cd and shave some of it.

Seems he might be getting lazy at track picking.

I didn't like any of them.

The man loves him some armani

Posted by hkaliher on Apr-28-2008 17:48:

should he stop? probably
will he stop? definitely not and really why would he? he can put anything out and it will sell based on his name alone, how many people would turn down the money? all the people who dislike him now are probably going to continue doing so as long as he remains 'the world's best dj' in the eyes of so many, no matter what he puts out.

The previous two? There were only two? 6 and 5? The rest were shit?

I know you know it starts from 1.

I only felt like mentioning the two most recent ones as they seem to be released very closely together whereas the first 3 were spaced out and released quite later from each other.

Also I didn't feel like reciting all the series and just going from the two most recent and close to this year.

The rest were not shit.

Can't wait! Will probably be my AOTY since we know Involver 2's never coming
