dude, wake up, wikipedia is nothing more then a database with 'facts' that are explained in a way thats usually not even true. its something for people who have to write reports and dont want to put some efforts in real facts, and use wiki in stead

e.g., read the 1st line of the article;
quote:
In Search of Sunrise 7: Asia is Dutch Dj, Tisto's upcoming compliation mix

yeah right, ISOS 7: Asia is a Dutch DJ....

Some day you will learn to read the meaning and not just the text.

What can I say, I'm an optimist.

I know, i understood his meaning, just had to say it. It wasnt as an 'attack' on bas.
But, i have to say its sometimes difficult for a foreigner to understand when someones words have to be taking 100% seriously, or when one is being cynical, sarcastic, ironic, etc. Although i can understand English quite a bit, its never easy to tell when the meaning of one's reply is different from his exact words, due to the way Englishmen/American/other-english~american~australian-speaking people can express themselves. For example, i didnt understand exactly what Ted Promo meant with his reply 2 posts before.

Lol, reading is not one of your strong points it seems.

he posted it on his myspace....looks like its true

In Search Of Sunrise 7 Asia, which was mixed and recorded in Thailand, captures the peaceful and intensively passionate way of life together with the vigorous activity that Tisto encountered during his tour through the region this spring. With past stops in Latin America, Los Angeles and last year's Ibiza, Tisto shows that Asia gave him the inspiration to deliver a brand new, double disc mix compilation, which beautifully expresses what he experienced on his journeys.

On In Search of Sunrise 7 Asia, Tisto offers up a seamless trip through the latest and best trance, house and techno with an Asian flair, spread over two full length discs. "I wanted to mix the concept behind ISOS 7 over two separate sets in such a fashion that the listeners can get a proper impression of what it means to tour Asia", he says. "Disc one will dwell on the easy going ambience and overwhelming beauty of the continent, whereas the second disc will focus on the incredible energy of the Asian people I felt during the live sets throughout the Asian tour".

To support the release of his new mix compilation, Tisto kicks off a dedicated North American 2008 In Search Of Sunrise Summer Tour, with 36 club shows rolling across the States and Canada on the 13th of June. He will later on host an exclusive two month long residency at Club Privilege in Ibiza. Tisto will be the resident every Monday, starting on the 7th of July until the closing party on the 22nd of September. Tisto will deliver his four hour deejay sets in the style of his In Search Of Sunrise series, everything supported by a newly developed and custom made state of the art production.

well, youre kinda right. perhaps i had the read all replies first to understand the full 'nature' of this thread. i didnt read all replies, only the first 4 or so. and so, later on i noticed how things were meant, yes. second of all, my first reply was more of an aggresive outburst towards Wiki in general, then towards someone in this thread.
most important of all, is that im not an English speaking person. as ive said before (reading is not your strongest point too eh :P?), its difficult sometimes to understand everything. even when things tend to be so clear, its hard to judge sometimes. so dont condemn me

Nah, just try switching the power button on your sarcasm detector to the "ON" position. If that doesn't work, try to put some new batteries. If that still doesn't work, then I'm afraid you'll have to take it to the shop for repair...

The twat already has it up for pre-order on his site without even releasing a tracklist first. Because guess what? People will buy it regardlessly...

I have a feeling eventually he will find his precious sunrise and must therefore purse that rising orb known as the moon. Groovy.

Yep. It's great to have your own pool.

Watching that video all the way through was kind of depressing. I sincerely feel sorry for him. I can see him having a mental breakdown sometime in the future.

Thought so already, 2 bad people tend to become so sarcastic so quickly.

wtf, what sort of weird monitors are they?

I'm surprised so much effort and practice goes into a mix CD for someone who probably plays out so much. It really makes me wanna hop onto my decks too, hehe.

I forgot the name of these speakers but I know they've proven their worthiness. The fact about these speakers is that they're built in a way that they don't lose physical volume output when they're put close to a wall or in a corner.

Plus they sound great.

But they're expensive.

I'm sure if you do some research on the net, you'll be able to find the name of the speakers pretty fast.
