Nah. It's just some ignorants think woman's job is to cook in the house, but the gourmet and el supremo (I dunno why I used this word) fancy shemancy cuisine is best done by men

they wanted him at the beginning but he turned down being a regular iron chef due to other commitments. morimoto was brought in instead.

Hardly... but if you REALLY wanted to add someone to the Iron Chef Roster that would blow everyone out of the water... get Tomas Keller out of Napa Valley.... there's a reason he's the top chef/restaurantuer in the US right now. don't believe... go eat at the French Laundry.
