A good MC for a trance set is someone who speaks just at the right time, keeps it short and knows when to shut up for the most part.

A good example would be, Paul Van Dyk Trance Energy 2003, it's only at the beginning during the breakdown of the second track. There's no more MC thereafter.

Why talk at all?

If the producer of the track wanted there to be vocals at that point, they would have put them there in the first place

Death to all MCs!!!

djs use mcs because they make too much money and feel the need to share it with retards

I wonder how much they get paid to ruin a perfectly good set.

example?

That was the last time I saw Johan Gielen in 2005. That same radio sample was played every 5 minutes.

Does anybody know the name of the MC at ASOT 350? I'm sure he's done a whole bunch of other major events too.

my biggest peeve is when i'm trying to dance and someone tries to talk to you during the best part of the song....*hint to guys, NOT the right time to talk to a girl!*

but a little hype during a breakdown doesn't hurt. just as it's not too long...

they should be punished instead of paid....for taking all the vibe away! and ruin the set.
