MSN FTW.

Posted by Ian on May-15-2008 10:20:

msn works for me. I have some family members on there who I can easily get messages between them & anyone in their households without having to find the phone or hope it's charged up (damn portable things) and its useful during sports to spoil it all for bas, since his feeds for football are usually a little bit behind our real-time ones something like

Ian Says
GOAL!

Bas Says
They've only just been awarded the free kick. thanks for spoiling it, jerk!

Jake Says
Hi, i'm jake, I'm ghey and I don't like sports but I'm going to join in this convo anyway.

*ian blocks jake*

Yeah, I hate people who use txt-speak.

Also, I think skype is trying to tell me something:

but it is not yet for any cool operating system

throughout the years it's been on and off, but these days it's mostly exclusively to talk to people I know one way or another, not just random peeps I don't know at all.

Some people have told me this isn't a rare thing, but honestly throughout all my years it hadn't before:
do you ever talk to some people from school online to whom you never talk to in school? ( different circle of friends, schedules etc )

I have this with a couple people in my own class but also with people in higher levels.

Also, approaching the end of the school year with all the stress involved I am starting to be at home a whole freaking lot and working like a nut job. Some days I talk to people more online than I do irl, I feel like a loser but these aren't internet geekos, these are people I know in the flesh and which I see everyday so online/irl what's the big deal ( not that I am saying one replaces the other by any means but you get my point )

(Although I am aware that is technically in private alpha states) I love Trillian 4's web based messenger. It is quite good.
