Well not many of them have a critically and scene acclaimed Balance compilation either. Nor do they really have Mojo's DJ schedule. So again the argument stands, he has a lot of focus and spends a lot of time in DJ'n, but also manages to put out some decent music. Its easier to make great music when you have more free time like some of the DJ's listed.

Most of the DJs that Bas listed have very heavy DJ schedules and still put out quality music. Please research. I'm not going to continue to debate this one.

Well after 12099 posts and 9.27 posts per day average you have going for yourself, I would say you are fairly popular by now. I think quite a number of producer's do that. Hey they gotta get the word about their success, and to many producers that is a bit of the early signs of success. The industry is a hit driven industry, with very short mainstream shelf life for each track. You might hear the most brilliant track from a producer and never hear from them again or they may never see play from a major DJ again. So I dont blame producers for doing that.

Also like the 'old' Mojo better than the 'new' one. As a dj that is. His productions were always alright, but nothing spectacular. He's a really great guy though

Free time has nothing to do with whether or not you make great music. That kinda proves my argument doesnt it? A busy DJ is going to put out less music, and in turn less chance of putting out a gem. If a DJ is really busy and manages to put out decent music at the same time, I think thats a respectable achievement, and they should be respected. But this conversation is going into semantics and really going to be a waste of time going forward.
