Badass! Thanks Woody!
Hehehe fuck yeah Cowpander!
This was around the time I saw him at the Palace right when I moved to LA. I think that was the last time I REALLY enjoyed one of his sets. Although his set at Ruby Skye for Spundae's 12 year anniversary was solid, from what I remember. Except for the fact that his puter crashed on him like 3 times.

I have to completely agree with you. The first time i heard that mix I went ape shit. It's so freaking awesome. And, I can totally close my eyes and imagine the sun going down in ibiza. Ever since that mix, I can't stop listening to it during the summer months. It's such an awesome summer mix!

As do I... I am not making fun of him at all. But I think Sasha is looking for a new, fresh sound to incorporate in his sets. He has been playing a lot of techno and minimal that he is working melodies into real small. It's just that he has to keep the flow going in these sets.

To hear him play on CDJs again on the boat in Miami was awesome. It sounded so good. John and Sasha both had an incredible time then.

I'm not making fun of him because he is an amazing artist, but from the day that we were hanging out talking about my daughter and his son hooking up when they are 16 to now... we have both gained our freshmen 15 and lost quite a few more hairs on top of our heads!

I missed the boat parties out here and I really hope that they have another one soon. They are always so exclusive and expensive that its hard to go.

I think he really knows how to keep the flow going on his sets. His style has some amazing progressive builds and now that he is incorporating melodies into techno and minimal I think this is going to be an evolutionary sound. he is bringing out some unknown artists that have a unique sound as well to remix his tracks. I have always seen Sasha as a revolutionary for sound. His sets have never let me down and his music is always ages away from what I know and listen to.

Those are my own feelings on this matter. I can understand how people say that he has slowed down or others dont really enjoy the music. it really is a different world of music. Each to their own... as it always is.

Cheers,
Lukasz

Sasha Live at Glastonbury 2003 is another great set by him from that era of Sasha... Sasha had an amazing run there in 2002 and remember really f'ing up my hip at mezzanine when he played there just a couple weeks after glastobury and had to be helped into a cab and had to hop one one leg from the cab into my place and couldn't walk right for three months..

In other words, that man made me dance my ass off that night. WHOOT WHOOT!

Even with the P.Diddy track in there, a great set to listen to....his set in SF a couple weeks after this was aweseomm!!!
