Hey did you know that photo you used for this artwork is also being used for the latest Shawn Mitiska release?

Lucky for me then that when I shit the sound of my turds hitting the bowl are better than anything Mitiska has ever had someone else produce for him.

Yeah, I just noticed that too as I was browsing Beatport right now.

Posted by Glaniskanis on May-22-2008 13:25:

very very good!!
This set the mood for me from the start like spc pointed out already
then followed by some corkers going into the dual sex mode from Solomun.
Fucking lovely edit of the Karu track... you gots to hook that up :P
Guy J near the end has been a big fav for me also lately

This totally made my afternoon that much better already... Maybe I go put Myra's mix on again now to keep me in that mood

Glad you liked it as well Glannie - and thanks for letting me know what you think. Solomun has just been on fire lately, but I have to say with regard to that Karu track, the only edit I really did was to add a more mixable intro so I could get those stabbing synths to mix well on a consistent basis, and then just about 30 seconds to a minute out of it for time.

Just don't want to be getting credit for doing all that much - hence the rather tongue & cheek "training wheels" edit.

Denys, I hope this mix takes you somewhere

1, 3, 7 I have been raping lately at the club... as well as ass to mouth, but that's been around...

but goddamn, the dixon remix has got to be one of the best tunes out lately

Absolutely agree - all of those tunes are monsters, though the weird thing about the Tristano track is that I think I prefer to listen to or hear the original, but love mixing C2's.

Every time I try and grab this the download freezes at 22%, don't really know why. Definitely something on my end since people seem to not be having problems. If someone could rehost it somewhere that'd be nice, I'd really like to check it out.

Seems to work fine for me, and Dreamhost doesn't seem to have any issues (as far as they're telling me, anyway).

Anyone else having any probs? Lemme know if you do - I'll try and sort it out.

Posted by RJT on May-26-2008 00:37:

enydo - let me know if you're still having issues and I'll sort out some way to get you a copy.

Sushi, link still works on my end. Thanks again

I listened to the set a few times (always high though ), really like the flow and where you want to lead us. I would be partial about the tracklist lol.

Posted by enydo on May-26-2008 23:01:

I finally managed to get it to download, Rob. Thanks though.

I'll report back once I've managed to give it a listen or two.

Thumbs up

Good deal - excited to hear what you think.

And Mr. Miurge, thank you very much - I hope that you enjoyed hearing your number mashed with that Carola tune.

Can't get enough of this mix Rob, excellent work

Posted by RJT on May-30-2008 06:08:

Ice - I'm really glad this one worked for people, I know it's a bit short (just under an hour), but much like Sounds like Robots, I was really pleased with how this turned out, but worried others might not be (like with Sounds like Robots).

Glad to see that in general people seem to like it as well as I do.

And getting to end a set with "Love Story" has been something I've been waiting for the right moment to do for a long time - I was really happy I got to open with straight up piano, and end with straight up sax.
