Awesome night, more later on.
This was hands down the best live set I have heard from Armin since september. The set was not about individual tunes, it was all about flow. Closer to the beginning were the more epic tunes like la guitarra and the legacy, but the set continuously escalated to the heavier pounding bass. Was fantastic in the track to track progression, kept everyone continuously dancing with a smile on their face.
As much as I cannot stand the tune going wrong, it was played at a time where it really didn't distract from the direction the set was going, and the escalating bassline continued right after.
All the similar anthem like songs were thrown together at the end of the set (a couple in encores), which is just downright respectable in my opinion. I know some people new to trance come to armin events to hear some of these glorified folk songs, so I understand that they are going to be played. The end of the night is always the time, especially after a set which was pretty damn hard for armin's style. Wind down time is always the right time if they have to be thrown out there!
Great vibe, and pretty damn packed. Pretty much every single person in the crowd was moving the entire night...It always means the set was way better than if you just see a lot of people standing around, bobbing their head goofily while staring at the DJ booth.

awesome night so glad i convinced my friend to come with me to niagara and didnt want to go with him when he asked me last minute to go to ultra a couple weeks back - from what all the TAs are saying it sounds like i made the right call! he loved it too and usually he likes hard trance and hardstyle (which i love too) and NEVER listens to asot anymore but i got him back into (i think)
my friend and his gf who came in are DUMB! for not coming out and canceling last minute but what can you do
armin was absolutely awesome and i am so happy to hear he is coming back soon!!!
coxx i am sorry but i am the asshole in the orange shirt (i think) in your 12th pic pretty much blocking armin completely from your pic ...wonder if my pic turned out better (impossible to know which one it is though lol) when i get chance ill upload my pics too (been busy since armin which is why this review is so long in coming)
