Yes. I'm a 6'3" black man with big burly muscles. If you get on my bad side, I just might sit on you.

Posted by Ted Promo on May-28-2008 00:52:

yep, New York has some mighty fiiine looking internet. Mighty fine.

Posted by enydo on May-28-2008 00:53:

That is a whole mess of confusing.

Posted by Ted Promo on May-28-2008 00:56:

not to mention it looks like there's a stop every 15 seconds.

Not if you take the express trains

Yeah but then you've gotta carry 15 drugs or less and that's just not relevant to my interests.

It's simple compared to the weekends. Some of the lines don't run plus random weekend construction screws up which line is traveling where.

that's actually easy to understand

Posted by Ang ' ela_ie on May-28-2008 01:13:

I dont think MTA's that hard, either. All's you need is a map!

Except that particular map Neon Sky posted is evil. Normal MTA maps have the stops for each station. That one doesn't tell you which train stops at what stop

edit: if you can understand NYC's subway map, you can understand any other subway map around the world easily.

What is this "zipcar" thing?

Posted by enydo on May-28-2008 01:25:

I don't really know too much about it, but it's like... renting a car basically. At least I think so.

I see them all over the place at GT and I heard by word of mouth people rent them out daily or something.

Posted by Ang ' ela_ie on May-28-2008 01:28:

www.zipcar.com

Its like having a bunch of cars spread out through the city to be used by anyone who wants to. Public transportation becomes more of an option when you know you can use a Zipcar for things like grocery shopping or whatever - you dont have to own a car to get by.

Posted by enydo on May-28-2008 01:30:

Yeah that, hehe.

I was close!

Ahh ok that is pretty sick! Good idea, but how successful is it?
