I anticipate that cancer will be the death of me.....its a scary thought but I am convinced that is the way it will end for me...either that or a heart attack.....and probably before I am 55.
I'm a bit at loss as to what to say but I know you will beat this thing - as Vivid boy pointed out, if you can deal with some of the toxicity here, you can deal with anything.
Srsly though - I hope you can look back at this moment and say that this was a trying moment in your life but you got past it. Believe in yourself, believe in cure, believe in what's best in this world. May the force be with you. Stay strong and never give up!
Wow, sorry to hear all of this, but you're a strong girl and i know you'll pull through.. maybe we need to get an oldskool TA poker match goin on its been toooooooo long lol. that would cheer yah up 
I really don't know you beyond the last few years here on TA, but I know that you're stubborn enough not to put up with much shit, so even with the little I do know of you, I feel confident you're one of the last people who would ever take this as "the end of the world" (as you've already made abundantly clear).
Try to stay positive, don't worry about coming to c0r to talk/discuss what's going on if you need to, and remember that beyond your friends, family, and all the people in the real world who are close to you, there are a bunch of us who've never even met you that really just want you to feel better.
Good luck - I'm sure you'll see your way through this and be a much stronger person for it.
Wow girly, it'll be okay I'm sure. Just make sure you do everything the doctors tell you.

Jesus, how horrible at such a young age. if all else, try to enjoy the next few years...go out and do shit you've always wanted to do.
i don't know how you are about treaments, drugs, etc... but i know if i was in your situation, i would be like, "give me all the shit you got to kill this disease". radiation, chemo, pills, whatever it would take. some people opt for the other alternatives (praying, wholistic medicine, not doing anything, etc...)...but i say, when its your own body and there are sure-fire ways to go about fixing it, i'd take it.

sorry to hear the bad news sara.. my sister had cancer when she was 4 through 6 and made it through... its beatable, but such a culture shock... keep your head up.. if you want it to be bad, it'll be bad but if you go with the flow and just be ok with it... then no worries..

A friend of mine has leukemia when she was your age. She said that the whole experience, along with her recovery, was the best thing that could've happened to her, because everything felt like a gift she almost lost.

stay strong never lose faith in the thoughts u will be fine soon and then all this will be behind you
i had one of my closest friend in high school who was 16.5 years old when she got a cancer.
Even if it was hard she has been so strong that it totally mesmerized me if i can say.
she managed finally to graduate high school too though all through the year she was in hospital with chimio and all the treatments.
just think about the future and stay positive it's important.

And I know what you mean about life being short, I've had some stuff going on recently that has really brought that home for me too.
Puts loads of other shit into perspective really, life is for living!

Very sorry to hear this. My dad beat cancer & he was 52. It is a battle that can be won. Stay strong & dont let it beat you. Take this thing head on & kick its ass.
sara! sorry to hear such terrible news, but like everyone has been saying... keep positive and im sure you'll only be stronger when you get past everything.
Terrible news Smoke-a-thon buddy but the best thing to do is to keep positive, do healthy things, and keep fighting. We're all pulling for you in a speedy recovery. You'll be in my thoughts.
