Last time (OS reinstall) I tried the same thing and it wouldn't work...now it didn't even consider it, it took it and installed....connected the slugger and updated everything.

The file itself, an installshield installer package, is just a zip file really. WinRAR can unpack it. Which is exactly what I did. I dumped all the extra utilities, as they are unnecessary.
