R U Ok is as creepy as it is shit, and that's a lot, imo.

Metope has a few really spooky tracks, Libertango is a good example, although evil might describe it better.

Ada - Fizzman (Original Mix) is kind of a creepy tune as well.

His remix of Dooms Night is one dark masterpiece. Released in '99 and still mentioned on these boards almost daily.

As foor aggressive spooky techno: http://www.discogs.com/release/1313739

Oliver Huntemann - Twisted.

I think a lot of Burial's stuff has a very "creepy" feeling to it while still being very comforting, at least to me.

Posted by distant on Jun-15-2008 08:52:

Burial isn't creepy at all to me. Just because it's lonely night music doesn't mean it has to be frightening.

Agreed. Burial has a lonely / sad vibe, but that isn't the same as "creepy."

i have to agree with whoever said Shonky. that dude has some awesome tripped out dark, eerie techno.

Yeah that's definitely true, but some of it still sounds very ethereal or creepy to me. I guess it's just not the same as some other more directly creepy tracks.

Any darkpsy stuff

LFO- Freak

the song itself has a scary vibe to it and the video just make it creepier

Posted by iammesol on Jun-15-2008 21:08:

Aphex Twin - Windowlicker
Nathan Fake - Outhouse

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jun-15-2008 21:38:

Has anyone said PQM - You Are Sleeping yet?

Classic tune. And creepy because he used samples of EVP (electric voice phenomena) to make it.

Posted by idoru on Jun-15-2008 21:59:

Mark Norman - Phanton Manor

lolololololololololol

Seriously, though? Harold Budd - The Photo of Santiago McKinn.

Windowlicker is cheeky, funny, waggish, comic... pretty much everything but creepy. Come To Daddy is way creepier (especially in combo with its MV). But to hear the real creepiness (and madness sometimes at the same time) in non-danceable EM you have to listen to some Venetian Snares or some darker works of Pan Sonic
