Here's a hidden gem of a restaurant... go to Brighton Beach to "Cafe Kashkar" (1141 Brighton Beach Ave). Small traditional Uzbek restaurant with the best f*cking food ever. Better speak Uzbek or Russian though if you go, or have someone with you that does.

i actually stayed in new jersey for a week for a family reunion, but i went there for a day and i just had fun shopping and looking around being a tourist, it was ALOT of fun, not worth skipping over
