Any reviews from the night?
To put it simply (and I think fairy), if you're the type of person who likes Sander's tech-trance side (e.g. like the set he played at Guv 10 year) then you would have had an amazing time last night. Sander played non-stop tech-trance all night: his set was composed overwhelmingly of fast-paced, banging beats. He played, for instance, The Girl I Lost to Cocaine, Riff, and Funkagenda's What the Fuck? In fact, about three seconds before I leaned in to show him my cell phone which had What the Fuck? written on it I heard 'They know what is what but they...' come through the speakers haha.
Sander was his happy-go-lucky, friendly, pumped-up self. He took lots of pics with people, signed autographs, shook hands, and smiled the entire time for which he spun.
I realized last night that my tastes have definitely changed and that I am no longer much of a fan of tech-trance music but like I said for those who enjoy that sound you guys would have loved what Mr. van Doorn dished out.
One of the highlights for me was finally managing to get a few pics with the man. For various reasons I had been unable to get a picture with Sander at the two previous events that I attended. I'm glad I finally have a few. (Thanks to the Detroit photographer for making it happen).
Remo was a gracious host as always. He shot me a big smile when he first spotted me as I wandered back to the bar looking for him and Sander. Thanks for the hospitality my friend, it's always appreciated.
I took about 20 videos and eventually I'll get around to posting some of my favourites.
On a side note, I'm done with clubbing for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if the summer goes by and I don't set foot inside another nightclub. I need a break from the scene, that's all.
Thanks to Lawrence (I appreciate you letting me stay over brother) and all his friends, Remo and his staff, Matt H, Justin J, Sander himself for being the friendlist DJ that I've ever met, and the police for not pulling me over for speeding on the ride down or on the ride back.
Lisa, your words re: my plans for music touched me. Thank you my dear. Your kindness is greatly appreciated

Wicked, im not much for the fluffy stuff, so I really enjoyed sanders set, it's hard to beleive that it was his 4th time there with us. The upgrade in the sound really shows when a guy like sander is banging it out.

What a great night last night cheers to everyone who came out. wicked atmosphere, the crowd didnt thin out at all so by the end i turned around to see the crowd behind me and everyones still rocking out, fuckin love that. sander threw a wicked set down with a great opener (girl you lost to cocaine). Hope you had fun nick, glad to know ur home safe, and cheers to you Remo for another great booking.
Sometimes I miss the Boom Boom Room, it was rad there
