I thought you will ask me that!
Russia has very good team, of course if we see the names playing for Netherlands we would say that this match makes no sense. Russia's players had a great year with their club teams, so I think they will win against Netherlands! We will see tonight

GO GO GO VODKA

Beating in mind their horrible line defending against Italy, I'm going for 3-1

I can actually see Hiddink pulling this one off once again. Definitely worth a bet at 1/5, still wanting the Dutch to succeed.

High scoring game this one, I reckon it'll be 3-2 Holland. Looking forward to it.

Robben is injured again (same prob as before) and will not be coming on, not even as a sub.

Posted by Vitek06 on Jun-21-2008 18:29:

tonight there will be a BIG surprise!!!!

choo choo!
jump on the dutch bandwagon!

Posted by gehzumteufel on Jun-21-2008 19:11:

Russia is playing wellso far. w00t!

Posted by Vitek06 on Jun-21-2008 19:17:

jesus christ... russia has a SHOOTER in the midfield

Posted by Saint John on Jun-21-2008 19:18:

If russia can keep this up for the whole game, they got this for sure. Van der sal or w/e his name will have to let one of those go by. They have been pretty amazing saves though on his behalf.

Posted by Vitek06 on Jun-21-2008 19:31:

great match till now

Posted by bananas on Jun-21-2008 19:33:

hmmm..holland isn't playing the way they should, hope that'll change in the second half

Posted by HardTranceProd on Jun-21-2008 19:33:

good match so far. The Russians started out well. Unfortunately they're getting a bit tired now, into the end of the first half

Still, Holland isn't playing the way it's been expected to play, so that's good for Russia thus far..

fuck yesscoreless at the half!

Gah, the curse continues. I would be lying if I said that they don't deserve to be ahead. One sub left for Holland too, and I hope it's Robben to inject some creativity into their attacks.

Posted by Massive84 on Jun-21-2008 20:00:

We may have one of the best team in the world.

Russia has the best coach.'

So far Holland is doing bad, as i expected, Russia's fast game and counters and the unexpected canon shots are to hard to handle

Robben has some injury , he wont play

Posted by Intuition on Jun-21-2008 20:03:

Interesting point being made by Derek Rae and Tommy Smyth right now: What is it about the group winners? First Portugal, then Croatia, and now another potential upset.

So, Afellay in place for Engelaar, so we won't be seeing Robben.

Ah, that would explain it. Less than 30 minutes left.
