| Originally posted by Blake Word, I was hyped about the lineup until I read your post about ticket prices. DEMF was $40 this year for a 3 day pass wtf. I don't think I'd pay $100 for a day at a music festival again unless it's something like Coachella or Bonnaroo where I'm actually camped out there for the duration, getting the full festival experience. A lot of the acts that are worth catching are coming through to NYC between July and September. |

Think about it...we tend to pay $40-ish for big names (armin, ferry, pvd, etc....) and here, we get armin, ferry, underworld, hawtin, lawler, and the list goes on....for TWO days. They gotta pay for the talent and the help somehow, right? |

i might be there
ferry & chromeo ftw
So what time is everyone showing up for this?
Day 2 looks interesting, hmmm. Wonder what time Armin is coming on and how long they're playing. But only til 10? eh...
You're not paying $98 for the dance tent. All rock festivals are that expensive. All Points West in Jersey is the same price and not as good of a lineup.
