You can't beat good Indian food. It's one of those things for me though that's great at the time but when your munching it down drunk at 3 in the morning but your toilet takes the beating of a lifetime the following day.

All I'm saying is just make sure you install grip handles on your toilet prior and put the toilet paper in the fridge, cause it's hotter on the way out than the way in.

Guiness + Indian = Not Recommended for the weak-willed

Exactly. When I was in England, the 'Indian' food was totally different, made to suit British tastes, and nothing like how it is authentically, pretty much like most cuisines outside their own country.

Most of you'll are familiar with a lot of North Indian or Punjabi food, like the Chicken Tikka, and Naans and butter chicken and the like, but there are a huge number of other indian cuisines that are equally delectable. South Indian with Dosas, Idlis, Rasam etc, Mughlai, Maharashtrian, Bengali are just a few other variety of food you should try out

Oh, and get familiarised with Indian sweets, perfect end to a perfect meal.

I have had Mughlai and Dosas. Delicious. I had this dessert once which was like a custard flan type thing. That was really good, but I forget the name.

Best indian food ever is the poori/luchi (the puffy round "tortillas" indian bread type bread) that my mom makes. I eat like 10-15 of those w/ salt and go have a heart attack in my room. Nirvana.

I could not agree more. I would kill for a tandoor in my backyard. I would also kill for a backyard.

thats the best combo on the planet.
mattar paneer, some naan and pakoras with assorted chutneys and a guiness. perfection.

not to be gross, but i have noticed that indian food smells EXACTLY the same going in as it does coming out...its very odd. usually makes me hungry again for leftovers lol

Being indian has its perks.

It does, it's like your body doesn't process any of the Indian at all... straight in and straight out. I wouldn't publicly advertise that you get hungry immediately after taking a shit though, that'll put some people off their own dinner.

Guiness + Bad Indian Food does give you the blackest of black skits.

no mate I very rarely venture to that side of town, and there's few places I'd trust to eat in derby
and Monday mornings are my time for visiting the royal infirmary

I'd still sit next to a punjabi smelling like indian food, than next to a latino flatulating mexican food or anyone who's eaten garlicy food.

plus... I smell like milk.

Really? Is that regional? One of my friends is from india and every time he has home cooked food it is spicy as all hell. He always talks about how food isn't spicy enough anywhere here, and how it is so much more rediculous in india.

I love it. There are many different styles depending on the area the dish comes from, pretty much the same for most countries.

My student life meals simply rotated between indian, chinese and italian, the one great thing about British food/cuisine is that it seems we have incorporated and assimilated most foods, nothing beats a curry though after a night out!
