I can't stand it when promoters don't promote 100% honestly

this post is such a joke it almost made me laugh as much as a few seconds from the George Carlin reruns I've been watching and that was just the opening credits.

Fun fact: read Pancho's bio on the flyer, then read the first google result for "Ricardo Villalobos"

I'll totally give the benefit of the doubt that he's a good dj perhaps - honestly I never heard of the guy and for all I know he can be related to Ricardo, but I agree with a lot of what was posted earlier.

This flyer and promotion is very manipulative. When I read it I was ready to trigger all communications and be like wtf is RV's SF date?

I'm not blaming the topic creator but SOMEONE either can't read when they wrote the copy and didn't notice the difference in first names or someone intentionally copy and pasted that just to use the branding Villalobos

I can't believe that people still don't get the joke. Dude, there is no Pancho Villalobos, the entire thing was a joke. People are taking this way to seriously, it isn't trying to be deceptive, Suli was just trying to have some fun. The bio thing was certainly part of it. I'm sure if you go back and read his posts with this in mind it will become clear. I think its all part of the "Los Rudos" thing.

Anyways, it should have never gotten this far. To be clear, this Wednesday will only be Los Rudos, there is no "special guest".

I actually had this fake Pancho guy mixed up with Alex Villalobos

the event is called LIES and I think it was done tongue-in-cheek...so in that sense, it fits...

from your comment, it is obvious you have not been to LIES. Every week thay have to turn people away because of the number of people that come play. Its not only clean and well decorated but has a superb staff. The sound system is A+ and the crowd is as well. Not like you cared to know this, maybe when you been Djing for more then 2 years I'll welcome your critiques.

Lies may be at a "shitty bar" but it certainly isn't empty. Here are some picutes from Acid Circus and Bodyrock last week.
