fuuuck I don't know who to cheer for.
Both my two teams made it to the finals
hmm
ok im ganna have to say i want germany to win 3-2
but really i feel spain will beat them 2-0
fuck germany, hope lehmann will play as he did against turkey, what a douche, thank god he left arsenal.
i wanna see both ballack and fabregas in tears, except that i wanna see fabregas in tears of joy
Well my money is literally on Germany, so no surprises as to who I'm going for.
I really want spain to win. Spain plays better footy and i just hate ballack with passion. Always whining and pushing people. F zee the germans.
who has the best goals from both teams?
also, after every goal, at the stadiums they play some catchy old house tune from like late 90's/early 00's. I can't quite put my finger on it now, but I knew they name when I heard it last week...

Germany have actually scored better goals than Spain. Ballack vs Austria, Schweinsteiger vs Portugal, Lahm vs Turkey... all spectacular goals. A lot of Spain's goals were quite simple.
Some people are really glued to old preconceptions and stereotypes about ugly, lucky German football. If you wanna talk about luck, take a look at Italy or Turkey for example. Ask yourself when Germany achieved something the last time (hint, sometime around the middle of the 90s). Look objectively at the style of football played by the German aquad since the 2005- Klinsmann era.
Unlike 2002 (which was a crazy, unattractive tournament as a whole), this time the Germans actually delivered and rightfully qualified for the battle for Europe's crown. Already in 2006 did they play fresh, dynamic football, and besides some backslides, they'e again performing convincingly and never really boringly. Some of the players I still can't stand, but I started to shift from conditioned anti-Germans sentiments to objective judgement of their football.
What I wanna say by all this babbling is: May the better team win. For me it's totally 50:50.
that first goal against portugal was spectacular.
Most German goals were incredible.

I'm cheering for a great game. Doesn't matter who wins.
Like Germany has a chance... Even without Villa, having Fabregas in his stead creates a style of play that cannot be matched. Germany's play should be very similar to Russia's, barring a little more energy in attack and the potentially dangerous use of set pieces.
My guess: 1-3.
Germany all over this, Spain will choke and can't cope with pressure.
Pressure is what drives Germany, Portugay's game was a fine example.
Hopefully no fagotery from Spanish's side.
Fuck Deutschland. Vamos Espana!

This German defense certainly looks more suspect than years past. Everything else is pretty much in line. And I still don't know if I can trust Lehmann in net.
If Cesc is as effective as he was against the Russians I'd say Spain have this in the bag.

| Originally posted by noikeee Germany's record of the quarter-final and semi-final added: 17 shots total, 8 of those shots on goal, 6 goals. That's a great finishing ratio, and some of those shots came from nice plays, but it's simply not humanly possible to keep such a ratio on average. It's plain damn luck. |
Why isn't there a poll for this thread? I'm too lazy to count.
