They make me feel ashamed of EDM (what music do u like?? -umm...elec..uhh..i like rock music...)

The Gathering
Classical Mushroom
B.P. Empire

All class psy-albumss from them. After that is when they started to experiment into the vocal and more mainstream-esque stuff

Whether you like it or not, people are entitled to their own opinions.

I don't think I can name 1 single track, which does not have some shitty kids sample, gimmicky rock guitar, or some other stupid shit that completely ruins the track for me.

I don't like them. Some people like them, some don't.

Also, no matter what you say, you can't deny that Paul Oakenfold is nowhere near the summit of his power (93-99~).

Holy shit that sucked.
Never heard the track before. If I hear IM I think of class tunes like Psycho and Return of the Shadows

Heh, I wanna see how this pans out, never know it MIGHT be good. I know I've been in love with IM for god knows how long. Right around when they pumping out the I'm The Supervisor.

I remember seeing them just the 2 guys, then both original guys with a sick guitarist. Then the last time with them 3 + a drummer. Gotta say I braught a couple of people too there shows, and the one thing that I always heard afterwards was the energy these guys bring out in a live performance.

To this day, still one of the craziest most unique live show I've ever seen.

at least oakey and IM have something in common, they were good... about 10 years ago

Classical Mushroom was my favourite album but I still think they've done an awesome job with their newer stuff - it still has their own style and is highly original

I agree. Granted I do much like their older stuff BPE, Classic, Gathering, even some of CV more than the new stuff. But I highly love the guitar stuff they have been implementing in their music lately. Tracks such as Meduzz, Stretched, Suliman, Heavyweight...etc are really awesome. The vocals are give and take sometimes but I really don't find them annoying. They still impliment good ideas, creative ideas... it may not be in the total psy-package anymore BUT if you know anything about IM then you know that heading in this direction has been their goal since they started making music together. So this new direction comes as no surprise to me, and I don't consider it selling out when it's been publically known what their musical goals were years and years and years ago.

YOU
WIN
THE
INTERNET!

Feel the Universe is quite possibly my favorite track of all time... Gods & Monsters is pretty damn good - very good, actually. But nowhere near the greatness that is Beyond the Infinite.
