road kill clean up
Full time night shift nurse's aide while getting my master's. I didn't mind it too much, but there was a lot of poop, pee, vomit, drainage and weird smells involved, although I got pretty used to it. What sucked was working 12 hours and then going straight to lecture and trying to be functional. I've always been a "night owl," but after 3 years of trying to switch back and forth for school and work, my insomnia is epic, years after I stopped working there.
1) K.F.C :- cooked chicken in the back and stuff mainly cooking duties and cleaning if not busy worst 2 years of my life.
2) FedEx Ground:- Lifted boxes and loaded in the truck during early college days hours were good but job sucked 3.5 hours a day which kinda felt like 12 hour shift with the amount of lifting and loading we did.
Graduate Research Assistant.
Actually my worst job was at an insurance agency in highschool. I dont know how those people could come into work every day.... it was so dull. And answering the phones wasnt fun. Believe it or not people dont really enjoy having to call their insurance agent.

My first job when i was 16 was a bagger/kart kid at Dominicks Finer Foods. Paid $4.35 an hour lol. When i was 19 and in school i was a telemarketer at Trader Publishing company. I only did telemarketing for 6 months while in school then quit school to work there full time in a better position. Even though it was a shit job i attribute that job to getting my foot in the door with advertising & marketing.
I worked in the target warehouse, I didn't think it was shitty at all.
Get up at 330am, flex my muscles, put on some Markus Schulz, unload the truck and stock up the store. But the pay was too low.

Wal-Mart: The worlds largest homeless shelter.
Wal-Mart. Always for the homeless, always.
Oh and I have had a few shitty jobs. 2 of them at warehouses, one at target, one at a movie theater, and one at a fucking costume jewelry company (Cookie Lee) folding paper all fucking day.

garrrrr!
I used to work for a small book distributor (www.lb.ca) and i had a good position, lots of things to do and responsibility, but i got paid $11
then when it came to my big raise that they were hyping up for the whole year, i got... $11.25
plus there was a lot of bullshit to do there with mandatory over time and doing jobs that weren't mine, but w/e.
i quit and have a good job with a decent wage.
Drive-Thru at Wendy's. On a positive note, I still eat there!
working technology sales at office depot (not there anymore)
every day was a whirlwind of anger and wanting to knock the shit out of idiot customers.

Not really the worst job ever, but AIG as a "financial analyst". I wrote that in quotes because it was advanced data entry in Excel. Thank god I'm getting the fuck out of there in 2 weeks to work for Moody's in NYC
AIG is probably one of the worst mismanaged corporations ever (see: AIG stock price getting fucked in the ass by a full-sized arabian stallion).. it really is a fucking joke in my building.
My actual real worst job was retail @ Best Buy. They stuck me in the god damn printer aisle so I had to deal with people who couldn't figure out which ink cartridge they needed for their printer at home. Then to top it off, after Black Friday (or is it thursday? i dont care), my hours were magically cut every week by at least 50%. And during these new shit hours, they sent me to work in the back warehouse area to take new merchandise off the truck. A few weeks later I told my manager that I needed a week off for spring break. He said that it was cool and to come back after vacation to set up my hours for the following week. Never came back, fuck that place!

KFC. Surrounded by disgusting food, serving predominantly bogans and asshole soccer mums, managers were the typical 'going nowhere so take it out on the people who worked there,' co-workers were either more of the same or emotionally unstable teenage girls. Eventually quit because I was on the verge of either walking out on the spot or snapping and getting into a serious argument with a customer.
Now I'm doing commissioned door to door charity work. Don't mind the work as long as it's not raining, money has the potential to be good - very good if you can sign enough people up, and the whole atmosphere in the workplace is so much better. Wouldn't want to be doing it 10 years from now, but as a 'can't decide what I want to study at uni or do for a career' job, it shits over hospitality.
^^^^
Just so people know, bogans are like rednecks but for Australia.
peace.
