I'm gay as ... damn for once i wish i was on bayraves, they have this one emoticon that expresses my gayness...
and good choice for the xio... as i said it's very simple, but there's this one sub bass patch on it that is effin amazing (though i still use tau pro for the very bottom end mostly)
and i don't think the guy was making fun of my gayness, but if he was, that's okay too, i don't much care... i'm an adult, i've been out for A LONG TIME, and my friends matter way more than anyone on any message board...
btw... be on the look out... i'm almost done with my remix of agnelli and nelson -- every day

Why the hell wouldn't I? I make my music to be EXACTLY what I want to hear. I'll typically only listen to a track just for fun after it's been done for more than a year. That's when I'm no longer disgustingly sick of it.
Sometimes when I listen to some older stuff I've done, I get the goosebumps. For some reason I feel that I had better ideas back then, even though I was producing with some hifi sennheiser phones, that basically made everything I made sound like crap.
I have had my focal monitors for a whole year now, and still haven't been able to finish a single track.
Time constraints mostly, but some of it is due to my terrible work ethic. I overproduce everything, which makes me sick of it all before I even reach 50%. I try so desperately to come up with something original, that I loose my perspective of why I'm doing this in the first place. I need to grow a set of bollocks and get some stuff done already.

Of course, we all listen for analytical purposes, but I have a few songs that I just really enjoy listening to on a regular basis - does that seem egotistical? |

i always think my tracks suck ass, every single one i've done. i'll listen to it once after it's complete and then it sits there
Sometimes. I find that if I'm in a production slump, listening to my own music gets me back in the mood again to start writing music.
everybody loves the music they produce and listen to it like its a child of there own.
getting other people to like it ,is a different story

I listen to them, but not very much as the more u listen, the harder u critique your work which in itself can cause tunnel vision and...well u know how that can go down
Yes, but only when I'm sure they are finished. If they aren't I can always find a reason to go back and fuck about with them, in fact even when I decide they are finished I can usually find a reason. Its a stressful experience sometimes................
i wish i could listen to my old tracks they all died with my computer, my new stuff never gets finished but i listen now and then mostly when im pissed and think they sound awsome!!!
