Oakenfold is into so many things these days I don't know what to expect of him when I go see him live. I wouldn't be shocked if he even played some happy hardcore

where did you get an idea like that? What an arrogant uninformed statement... The origins of House music go all the way back to the 70s and 80s. I doubt Oakenfold was around back then. Read the book "A DJ Saved My Life" for a good history of DJing and electronic music (including the REAL origins of house music)

The Founders Of Trance

The founders of trance were certainly not British, they were mostly German, e.g. Oliver Lieb, Sven Vath, Matthias Hoffmann, Cosmic Baby etc.

Exactly.
These trancEaddicts constantly overlook Germany, one of the greatest countries when it comes to Dance/Trance music, and one from which the whole movement emerged.
