I think a lot of people put more emphasis on the movie because Heath is dead but get the fuck real, that is not @ all why I liked him as the Joker...even before he died and I found out about The Dark Knight (LAST year) I was excited to see his portrayal succeeding Jack Nicholson. WTF does he dying have to do with his acting abilities...I saw him in a lot of movies when he was alive and enjoyed his ACTING...that's what the fuk its about after all. I've seen a lot of cheesy fuking movies with cheesy fuking actors & MASSES flock to it.
His Joker laugh was cheesy? LMAO that is how the joker laughs & talks. The Joker is an insane character [not someone who decided to be evil or vengeful] he was just insane & it was a good portrayal of insanity from someone who clearly wasn't.
I feel for him being dead, he was a good actor but that is not what makes everyone like his Joker character more. And hell let the guy be remembered for this role as being great.
I suggest some of you go read the comics to get a refresher course...the comics didn't make this elaborate attempt at all these specifications ppl are bitching about. The movie was based on the comic the furthest I've ever seen but it still had to appeal to an audience that didn't follow 50 yr old comic books.
Get real, all these comic book turned movies have FAILED massively in depicting the actual comic stories EXCEPT the NEW Batman's as far as I've seen.
There was no GREAT love story in Batman...Bruce was dark & bitter and although he didn't kill people he did beat their fuking ass.
Just like a remake of a video game into a movie, there is always going to be certain things that will be altered for the sake of a general audience. This was by far the best way for them to follow the story but also make it movie like.
Do I think that maybe the movie would have been as grandly successful box office wise if Ledger hadn't died, no. But I do think that it would have still been massive because even before he died, it was hyped and a lot of people truly enjoyed Batman Begins.
Meh, I give this movie a C-.
The movie was too long and dragged on for 3 hours. It should have been a 2 hour movie or shorter for the type of message it wanted to get across. I fell asleep during some scenes, but there were some highs, but for the most part this movie was pretty overhyped as far as the whole film flowed.
I also never liked the way Christian Bale does the batman voice. It really sounds stupid and forced. Michael Keaton ftw! Overall the acting was solid and the hype for heath ledger was justified but not the whole movie as a whole. It was just a little boring. I would not watch it again.
I must watch this soon.
ben, your a joker!
I want all of you guys to know since you are my friends. "I "AM" THE BATMAN"
