Kevin - What type of work do you do?

Me - Mostly excavation and finance

Kevin - Finance??

Kevin - Plants cant be trusted ::::looks out towards forest::::

Me - You shouldn't worry about those there, its the ones behind you that are the problem.. On the other side of the river

Kevin - Whos side are you on?

Me - The plants man. The Plants

Few moments later he tore his shirt off Hulkamania style and he went running down the trail..

Also - I just cleaned out my car and I have someones Paris t-shirt.. Its white with a green logo...

props to drew for putting the glow sticks on the trail. made things so much easier. we spent about 30 minutes trying to take pictures but they always came out too bright or blurry without a tripod.

oh, and i burned the hairs on my arm while trying to light the grill.

i'll try and get pictures up soon.

wow, what a weekend ! its official, RHODE KILL has become my fav annual event hands down. im still feeling the aftermath of it all but already cant wait for RK3 !! lol

major major props to steven & sheila for being so f'n generous and hosting such an event.
this year was def more organized as we knew what worked and what didnt last year. lot more ppl came up on fri. compared to last year and the amount of ppl we had during the main night [sat] was impressive, met many new faces and they were all cool as hell.

dreas, thanx for helping me set up the sound [along with others that helped out]

the music was phenomenal and taso's visuals were ridiculous ! that was totally the icing on the big fat cake..lol

loved max's set, first time for me and it was taking me places for sure. andy's set was just madness, lots of sick originals and just full of energy.

eli's set was full of nastiness & silliness ie. that remix of fresh prince's summertime was pure rhode kill material..lol you need to send me it asap so i can squeeze it in couple times before the season's over.

mark played some tripped out stuff, while battling the plants himself, good shit man transition of flow was really seemless from Andy to you, we were all of a sudden in a minitek madness i was lovin it.

thanx to those who were there for my set, since i was sick last year and couldnt spin, it felt really good getting on the decks this year hope you guys enjoyed as much as i did.

by the time pat & luzz got on i was battling the plants myself so i wont comment..lol

oh ERICA, you fucking RULE !! had no idea you were such a funny lil girl ~ so when are you comin over and making me that incredible cheesecake ? totally the highlight of the weekend =)

KENNY, great meeing you, your girl is hilarious, see you guys at porch.

thanx once again Sheila & Steven my heart is already @ RK3 !

peace !

I ran to the house deck to fetch Luzz.. I was like "Dude, you must follow me. NOW! You have to see these lights man!" lol..

Huge thanks to Sheila and Steven for another awesome weekend! I had a blast. Did anyone post pictures, either here or on facebook? I want to steal some for my site.

I'm going to post a full review on wickedgoodrecords.com soon, along with some of the original tracks I played. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

Cheers

lol!

come to think of it, maybe there WAS a theory behind the PLANTS this past weekend, esp by the river --

A FEW of us went toward the brink of MADNESS aka battling the plants - especially when Drew Randy and I were sitting on the dock during three different times on Saturday - it had gotten so HOT out there and we were DEF not ourselves so we ended up isolating ourselves...

hmm...is it POSSIBLE??!

Phooey to the PLANTS!!! lol!!!!

Hahahahaaa, What about Rubin from Groovanauts spending time at our neighbors wedding until He realised He was at the wrong party. He didn't realise it until the Dj played "who let the dogs out" ?..

Hey Ken thanks for sorting out the tractor after I crashed it into the tree.

I have absolutely no words for this weekend! everytime I've tried to describe it to people, I've failed miserably. Shelia and Steven: you guys were SOOOOOOOOOOOO hospitable, thank you so much!!! between the full bar full of booze, seemingly endless amounts of food, and the glowsticks, your generosity and commitment to this party was just amazing. thank you both so much!!!!

I met so many great people this weekend, I can't even think of where to start. Tae: your set had everyones jaws on the floor, I really enjoyed talking to you and hope we can meet up soon. wu-tang foreva nugga!!! endo: great to meet you dude, your set was funky and full of really distinctive breaks. perfect amount of sampling and layering, I really enjoyed it!! eli: the man, the legend, the wilkie. what a fucking set dude, you are a true rockstar. dres: even though the number of people had dwindled down by the time you got to play, your tunes were EXACTLY what i wanted to hear all night. trancey, spaced out driving prog and techno that still gives me goosebumps when I think about it.

I think everyone will agree that andy ward absolutely destroyed that deck, I just couldn't believe the sheer amount of energy in the air after the generator came back on. that whole experience really reminded me of exactly why i love this music and the people that come together to listen to it so much. I'm so happy that I got to know all of you! until next year!!!

No worries mate I felt like I needed to take on one last rave mission before heading home! lol.. Pulling a tractor out of the bushes to haul back the last of the gear seemed perfect!
