not everyone clicks with people right away. You got lucky jenny, other people sometimes try with many good intentions and still need to feel the need to move on.

remember you can still have a few long term relationships in 10 years. You never dated anyone for like 3 or 4 months and been wtf is this shit?

and this

Of course. Just saying, in relation to the question being asked...that to me numbers do matter.

It's funny to me that people still believe things like this.

i have honestly never asked any of my boyfriends or partners how many partners they've had. it's none of my business and it doesn't matter since they are with me now

I think that's cause you've been with your man for a very long time though. For ex, my bf was single for... years and years. So I'm sure he's had his handfulS of women in that time (again didn't and won't ask cause don't care), but that doesn't make him any less of a good guy. He was just very picky about what girl he wanted an actual relationship with. He met me, and we've been together ever since. I don't care what his number is, because he's a wonderful boyfriend. It doesn't make a difference to me.

Well I'm judgmental.

I thought the 'bungee' part might have been a slight tip-off that I was joshing. Oh well.

Two words: AIDS test.

That's the new standard, like a pre-employment drug screening.

I'm not really that curious about my boys and girls

LoL...it's true. But that's my right. I realize it comes off as self-righteous, but I don't think I'm the epitome of....well, anything.

I just know what kind of people I want in my life, and I especially know what I want in a mate....and it isn't someone who fails at relationships and/or sleeps around - whether they're clean or not. Plain and simple.

I wasn't insinuating that you were passing serious judgment on women who've slept with a lot of guys. I just laugh that a lot of people (not necessarily you) think that you can use that for a barometer.

I suppose I should've made that point known originally.

Well, You also have the people who just don't really date unless they care about someone. Would you rather have someone that dates for 2 or 3 months at a time, or someone who waits a few years for the right person?

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jul-21-2008 21:11:

Someone who waits, and doesn't sleep around a lot in the mean-time.
