I'm now almost 17, i don't have decks at the moment, i'm workin' for it right now but I'm not sure what to buy. Technics are too expensive for me, i was thinking to buy Soundlabs. Anyone have them?? And what type are good because i don't want crap decks. Thanks in advance

i was spinning about 2 years on my Computer (Mix Vibes)
in my oppinon, i was very good.. my friends told me that too
now im spinning on the tables since about 6-7 months

had many recordet setts
about 10

now my last sett i recorder was in summer 2001
lost allmost all ideas for mixing

Have been dj'ing for 2 and a half years.

Have played at some small gigs.

A couple of house parties.
School Prom Party, and a large system in a booth.
College Common room, and a fairly large system.
And i came third in the TA mix comp 2 which i was pleased about

hey dave c...promiting mixes on the internet isnt the way 2 go. u might pick up soem fans but its how you play the game. u need to understand the polotics that are in Scene. If you in the circle u will get very far. but people who are out of the circle for example us we have long ways 2 go! the fastest way of getting big is producing. u need to produce to get the status of PvD, Tiesto, ferry and etc.

well, i know i don;t qualify as under 18, but i might as well put in here too. started seriously mixing last year and have learned tons since. been listening to electro for more years than i can count (thank you 80's music). making that difficult transition from mp3 dj to CDJ this summer. participated in both tranceaddict mixing compos (and am entered in the 3rd one too)...didn;t win anything big, but my technique has improved....and will improve more when i get my cd decks.

i've got my mixes on my ftp site for all to hear. check 'em out if you like.
