Read over my posts on the deadmau5 thread, you'll understand why I now hate WetBar. And yes, I know hate is a strong word, but trust me I mean HATE.

... and I think a lot of people were at Opera for Oscar G. If not, they were just there for electronic music, cause there was a fair amount of people geekin' their goshdarn brains out

Yah I tend to hate on places for isolated incidences too.

8 hours in jail, $1700 bail, and thousands of $$$ in attorney fees later, it's really not that funny. Not to mention this interferes with his citizenship application, which is another $600+ down the drain.

I think all of us involved have a pretty damn good reason to be upset.

Wow, that is terrible. I read over what happened and something like that really shouldn't happen, anywhere.

I hope everything works out for you guys.

Posted by Caution_BiPolar on Aug-26-2008 19:12:

I'm sure it will work out, it's just a royal pain in the ass, not to mention a FUCKTON of money over a bottle of water. We figured out the woman was employed as well through the club, so WetBar basically costs us in excess of $8,000 both guys combined.

They'd have to have that woman and security guard kneel down and apologize and offer us VIP treatment for LIFE in order to go back in there.

... or just cut us a check for what we've paid so far. The VIP for life option is likely cheaper, though.

Wait a second, so he actually got arrested and had to be bailed out? I just thought he was thrown to the ground then let go. I mean, that was bad enough in itself. You guys have to have some kind of a case against these people. What exactly was he charged with? Bringing a water bottle that he paid for outside? Has the attorney been able to offer any help?

Yes, they were both arrested for something like obstruction of a pedestrian walkway or some retarded shit, however they weren't obstructing jack shit until the security goons had them pinned to the ground. They fucked up in many ways, and we can likely embarass Hell out of them in court... not listing all the details for obvious reasons, but yea...

I loved him already, dude. I feel like we're talking about two different things.

My beef is with the staff of a venue that I've brought in numerous clientele for, let host my birthday with VIP service and 25+ guests, and hyped up this one event for two months in advance. I guess WetBar doesn't consider that the people they senselessly harass may have been responsible for bringing in a fair amount of people for this and several other events, they just feel the need to cost us senseless amounts of money and literally RUIN our lives for a good while.

If this were to happen to you instead of us, I'm sure you'd be a little more upset and a little less likely to play it down as just an average night out.
