Nick,

lets pray to god that we don't ever get a peak time mainroom "minimal" set.

Has it ever occurred to you that the recent minimal-style house / electro upswing might be dance-oriented? That's it's *far* more accessible to a wider range of audiences?

Trendy? Perhaps. But it's a long time coming.

heh. even classical music had its trends. from complex baroque to more 'trendy' and simpler classical...

Then came romantic... does this mean trance will be back in swing eventually?

Fauvrelle is going to have a good career. He's a damn good producer and he's someone I want to check out live. Being tutored by guys like Chus and Ceballos, DJ Vibe and Victor Calderone is only going to help him get better.

none of those acts save for loco dice (don't know bout bbb..i wouldn't step foot in a room with him spinnning) spin straight up minimal.

lawler is definately heading in the wrong direction though

none of those acts spin straight up minimal.

minimal is an approach not an actual genre, and most of you probably would not know it if it hit you in the face and jesus posed.

Those video's were examples of sets which revolved around the minimal theme...

I had to use what was recorded on youtube to demonstrate my point...

Whatever....this thread is dead to me...

Posted by elFreak on Aug-05-2008 16:09:

like your point.

it is too bad, because i love it when people bash things they have no clue about.
