If you have a Brita pitcher then why does the flavor of your tap water matter?

Your water is filled with mind-altering phycho agents which make you easier to drift into submission when it comes to the government's decision to steer you all like the Sheeple you are.

Where I used to live we had the voted second best water in Sweden. And Sweden (or Nordic countries) got the best quality tap water in the world.

So it's pretty fucking great.

storing replacement filters doesn't work in student housing!

Brisbane water is pretty good actually. No taste or smell.

Posted by kadomony on Aug-05-2008 00:06:

weed or detergent usually

I don't use water for anything anymore. I now use vodka instead of water for everything. The bathing in vodka kinda burns the eyes though.

At home (denmark), our water was clean. No smell, no taste. Someone told me our water is the cleanest in the world (probably my grandmother who thinks everything we have and everything we do is best in the world) but in all honesty, the water at school (Palo Alto) and at my bff's house (Rolling Hills) and at my aunt and uncle's house (Solvang) all tastes the same as the water at home...no taste. I have never paid for water.

There's a distinct difference in the water here in England as opposed to Scotland. Up there, the water is superb, real refreshing and it literally sings when it comes out the tap

Down in England here where I live at the moment, there's so much oestrogen pumped into the water supply, that it won't even come out the tap until you tell it it's arse doesn't look big.

LMAO!

When you run out of filters, or if you're at someone's place, or if you just feel like having some tap water.

When I was in Cancun, the tap water seriously smelled like ass.

I really lolled at this because I read it as "seriously smelled like my ass"... and the nervous smiley afterward made it perfect.

Never thought about what it smells like though

I love the water from spain for washing in, it's full of so many more minerals and lathers up so well, lovely, but it's not good to drink

Ian the only thing taht was fail about your country is the size of the refrigerators. i was staying at my buddies condo in woking and FFS you couldnt fit much more than a 6 pack of beer in there with some food jammed in on the sides? How am i supposed to get drunk on one 6 pack? clearly after centuries of british ingenuity they would have concluded that every household needs at least one full sized fridge just for beer. predrinking at teh pub was expensive as hell man! especially with my monopoly styled canukian dollaz..... I think due to our commonwealth status, canukian dollars should be honoured at par with the pound sterling. And i should get discounts at the maple leaf in soho for being canadian....... 8 pound 50 for a pint of blue........ (and i only did that because i wanted a picture of me drinking a pint of labatt piss water in england)

now back on topic....

if your water smells like your ass, stop shitting in your sink...

mine has a nice sulfur smell...... its always great when your city's water intake is down river from a pulp and paper mill........ I think this week it will smell like parts of flugtag machines as i watched 30 of them go into the drink on sunday..... hillarious.

Its improved since, but about 5+ years ago our water was noticeably brown. No shit, literally brown. Its still pretty bad taste but has lost its colour. Can't say I've ever really smelled it, so I guess it doesn't really smell.

I don't drink tap water anyway, got a rainwater tank for drinking.

Edit: actually it was probably more like 10 years ago.

T, I don't have any smell coming from the water at my place... strange considering our proximity. Regardless... I don't drink the tap-water in Waterloo, I have a reverse osmosis system... but the water is so shitty I have to run double the filters and they only last 75% as long as they should.

Well, wouldn't your filtration system kill the smell?

Maybe it's just my building...

Posted by Zild on Aug-05-2008 15:11:

Does your municipality add halogens like flourine to the water supply? They all smell sort of similar.

Posted by euphoria on Aug-05-2008 15:36:

NY water taste fine. I still use a filter anyway.

If you smell chlorine then it's prob in the water. If you live in a house or building you may want to talk to whoever is in charge about what they are using the treat the water on the premises.

I don't think it's enough to kill you or cause any severe harm tho. People drink pool water and they don't die.
